USS Wisconsin, Iowa-class battleship (nickname Wisky) was launched on December 7 1943. The ship is now owned by Norfolk, VA, but it must not be altered in any way that would impair its military utility;
it must be preserved in its present condition;
and spare parts and unique equipment such as the 16 inch gun barrels and projectiles must be preserved in adequate numbers to support Wisconsin, if reactivated
